This recipe infuses moonshine with ripe bananas, vanilla beans, and spices for a smooth and flavorful base.

- 1 (750ml) bottle moonshine
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
- In a large jar, combine the moonshine, sliced bananas, vanilla bean and seeds, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, and ginger.
- Seal the jar tightly and store in a cool, dark place for at least 24 hours, or up to 2 weeks for a more potent banana flavor.
- Strain the moonshine through cheesecloth or a fine-mesh sieve into a clean jar. Discard the solids.
- (Optional) For a creamier texture, add 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/4 cup powdered sugar to the strained moonshine. Stir well to combine.
- Serve chilled or over ice.
